Squeeze 64 bit gives me
Error opening terminal: xterm [rxvt,vt220...]

running ancient belkin UPS software, previously working on etch.

in bash tried:

set TERM=rxvt
export TERM=rxvt

No error number so it can't find the terminfo.

Finally left Ubuntu (was a Alpha tester for the last 5 years--had a very bad experience with one of the developers about the Unity interface) & have moved to Linux Mint Debian Edition--I liked the rolling release idea & have wanted to move to main Debian for a couple of years now. Couple of questions....

1. I would like to help with testing. Ideas on where I could get involved with Q & A? I was/am involved with Gnome-Shell for the last couple of years & know most of the stack.....

I did a Kernel upgrade and the network card no longer seem to work reliable or all. There was mention of rename device during the upgrade. Any ideas?
