Debian Laptop

Hi,

I've been trying to configure my wifi card to work in Debian Squeeze (2.6.32-5-amd64).
Now I`ve followed most of the posts about the brcm80211 firmware but they either
can't get the interface working or completely stalls the system (I have to reinstall
the systems every time that this happens) when I execute "modprobe brcm80211"

The info that I have from "lspci -nn | grep Network" is:

02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller [14e4:4727] (rev 01)

Does anyone know why the system is stalling with that firmware?

Thanks,

Aleardo

Hello there, I can't find anything concerning elsewhere on the web, so I decided to ask directly.

I have debian linux(i686) on dell inspiron 1545. I've had some problem finding the driver for the graphics card (broadcom) but i made it.
not completely, yet:
At boot-time happens (randomly) that the desktop is only a portion of the real screen: the pointer of the mouse could go everywhere but windows and all other thing are limited inside this strange smaller desktop. I don't know even where to start. It's strange because it only happens once a while (one on five times, say)
Another strange behavior is that, when shutting down, the screen starts flashing white..

I am new in debian and i like it, if you could help me fixing this all would be greatly appreciated..

I have installed Lenny on HP 530. The wireless is not functioning. The device not start. Can help me?

I installed debian etch on my lenova y510 laptop..I can't connect to internet when i run pppoeconf its says no ethernet card present..Can anyone suggest a solution for this?
